What to do if my dtcpay card stops working in a digital wallet?

2 mins read

If your dtcpay card previously worked in Apple, Google, or Samsung Pay but has stopped working,

Common causes :

  • Card suspended or frozen: If your card was frozen in-app, all wallet payments will be declined, and the card may appear as suspended.
  • Card terminated or reactivated: If your card has been terminated, it is no longer active in any digital wallet. After reactivation, you must delete and re-add the card to your wallet.
  • Authorization issues: If a new card wasn’t successfully authorized, payments may be declined (e.g., insufficient funds or card blocked).

What to do

  • Card suspended notification: Remove and re-add the card in your digital wallet.
  • Card terminated or reactivated: Delete the card from your wallet, then add it again after reactivation.
  • Card frozen in-app: Unfreeze your card in the dtcpay app, then try using it in your digital wallet again.

Make sure your card wasn’t frozen or terminated due to compromised security. If this is the case, do not use the card — request a new one instead.
