JD-Field Merchant Rep
dtcpay, a digital payments company based in Singapore, is seeking an energetic, self-motivated and passionate individual to join our team. As the Field Merchant Sales, you will play a key role to audit and service merchants for our client in Singapore, providing suitable solutions to merchants from sales to payment implementation. He/she will also assist the Sales Director to develop suitable products and enhance relationships with key accounts, partners and acquirers as the company drives for greater fee income.
Responsibilities:
- Merchant Acquisition and Merchant Management with POS Terminal experience
- Monitor merchant transactions/volume and formulate appropriate merchant retention strategies to minimize attrition.
- Provide quality service to all merchants with respect to their merchant/gateway services. Support Merchant Acquisition Team on registration, changes, terminal arrangement, or updates of merchant details as well as termination.
- Obtain adequate documentation in line with KYC policies at the time of new merchant sign-ups to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- All information gathered from merchants needs to be input into the system for reporting.
- Able to adapt to any ad hoc activities that are being assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ of retail store or sales experience.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team with commission incentives
- Fluency in English is required and preferably in Mandarin as well, to liaise with Mandarin-speaking merchants.
- Knowledge of the Singapore retail market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
