EUC Engineer (End-User Computing)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced End-User Computing (EUC) Engineer to do setup, configure, implement and manage Office & EUC solutions, including macOS Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), IT asset management, endpoint security, and office IT engineering tasks. The role also involves enhancing the digital workplace experience through the deployment of interactive whiteboards, TVs, and other collaboration tools, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
What You’ll Do:
1. macOS VDI Implementation & Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage a cloud-based macOS Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) using Mac mini and AWS instances.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and networks while maintaining high availability and security.
- Optimize performance and scalability of the VDI solution to meet business needs.
- Develop and enforce best practices for user access, authentication, and remote desktop security.
2. Asset Inventory & Management:
- Oversee lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring up-to-date inventory and tracking of hardware and software.
- Implement asset issuing, tagging, monitoring, and automated reporting mechanisms.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to IT asset management.
3. Endpoint & Physical Security:
- Implement and manage endpoint security solutions to safeguard devices against cyber threats.
- Define and enforce device configuration policies, encryption, and anti-malware strategies.
- Strengthen physical security controls to protect IT assets from unauthorized access and theft.
4. ITSM, IAM & PAM Functions:
- Establish and manage IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Ensure proper implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including role-based access control (RBAC) and single sign-on (SSO).
- Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) strategies to enforce least privileged principles and monitor privileged sessions.
- Maintain and manage Apple and MDM services, and both office & business applications (eg. Google Workspace, Lark, M365, etc.). Ensure these services operate optimally and securely, following cybersecurity best practices.
5. Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with regulatory and compliance standards, including ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other applicable frameworks.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including VDI configurations, security policies, and asset management procedures.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Lead a team of End User Computing (EUC) engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Collaborate closely with other IT team members and various departments to ensure the seamless delivery of IT services.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve issues promptly and ensure the efficient delivery of IT services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal clients regarding EUC-related concerns.
What We’re Looking For:
- More than 3 years experience in End-User Computing (EUC), IT Office infrastructure, and IT asset management.
- Experience in digital payments, financial services, or banking preferred.
- Hands-on experience with macOS environments, office, IT, electronic & network equipment, and digital workplace tools.
- Expertise in macOS deployment, IT hardware, Office-IT equipment, and network device configuration.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security, IAM, PAM, and compliance frameworks (eg. ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
- Experience with interactive whiteboards, TVs, and digital collaboration tools.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin as you will need to work closely with Chinese vendor.
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications such as Comptia Security+, ITIL, or CCNA preferred.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
