What to do if my dtcpay card or device is lost, replaced, or changed?

2 mins read

If you lose your device, replace your card, or move to a new device, follow the steps below to keep your dtcpay card safe and your digital wallet payments working smoothly.

  • Lost device:
    • Use your phone’s find‑my‑device features (e.g., Find My iPhone or Find My Device) to lock or erase the device.
    • Remove your dtcpay card from any digital wallet on that device.
    • Freeze or block the card in the dtcpay app to prevent unauthorised use.
  • Replaced card:
    • In your digital wallet, remove your old card first - card details do not update automatically.
    • In the dtcpay app, activate your new card and then add it to your digital wallet again.
  • New device (you kept the same card):
    • On your new device, download and install the dtcpay app, then log in.
    • Add your dtcpay card to your digital wallet (Apple/Google/Samsung) on the new device following the usual provisioning process.

If you suspect fraud or your card/device was compromised, contact dtcpay Customer Support immediately.
