The Product Operations Manager plays a key role within the Operations team, acting as the bridge between Product, Compliance and various Operations sub-departments. This role ensures new product features and updates are well-understood, operationalized efficiently, and aligned with regulatory and business requirements. The successful candidate will lead to creation of workflow processes, Standard Operating Procedure, and communication frameworks that support smooth product adoption and Operation readiness.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the Product team to understand upcoming features, releases, and enhancements.
- Work closely with the Compliance team to identify and align regulatory requirements with product changes.
- Translate product updates into operational requirements and ensure readiness across Operations sub‑departments.
- Develop, document, and maintain SOPs, workflows, and playbooks to support operational efficiency and scalability.
- Serve as the point of contact for product‑related changes, questions, and impact assessments.
- Coordinate cross‑functional communication to ensure all teams are informed of product updates and related processes.
- Monitor product performance from an operational perspective and identify areas for improvement.
- Support internal training on new features, processes, and operational changes.
- Assist in change management initiatives tied to product launches or enhancements.
- Track and report on operational metrics related to product usage, efficiency, and compliance.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product operations, business operations, fintech operations, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and process optimization.
- Experience working in fintech, payments, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Language fluent proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) as you will need to work closely with Chinese stakeholder.
- Ability to translate technical or regulatory information into clear operational processes.
- Detail‑oriented with strong documentation skills (SOPs, workflows, requirements).
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
