Singapore Crypto Payments Provider dtcpay Raises USD 16.5 Million

On June 21, Singapore-based crypto payments provider dtcpay (formerly Digital Treasures Center) announced the completion of a US$16.5 million funding round. The round was led by Kwee Liong Tek, Chairman of Pontiac Land Group, with participation from David Tung, former Managing Director and Partner at Carlyle Group; Jean-Marc Poullet, Chairman Asia at Burgess; and Tham Sai Choy, former Chairman of KPMG Singapore and Asia Pacific.

The new capital will support product development, strengthen operational and infrastructure capabilities, and expand the company’s global footprint.

Earlier in March, the Monetary Authority of Singapore approved Digital Treasures Center to provide cryptocurrency services, and in April, the company rebranded to dtcpay.

新资金将用于产品开发，加强其运营和基础设施能力，并扩大其全球影响力。 此前3月份消息，新加坡金管局批准Digital Treasures Center提供加密货币服务；4月消息，Digital Treasures Center更名为dtcpay。
