Treasury Reconciliation & Reporting Analyst

We are looking for a Treasury Reconciliation & Reporting Specialist to join our team and oversee daily reconciliation, balance verification, settlement monitoring, and Treasury reporting across fiat and digital asset transactions. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in managing financial data and transaction discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Daily Reconciliation & Balance Verification – Perform daily reconciliation across bank accounts, payment platforms, wallets, exchanges, custodians, and internal Treasury records to ensure balances, transactions, and fund movements are complete and accurately reflected.
- Operational Reconciliation & Settlement Monitoring – Reconcile incoming and outgoing fiat and digital asset transactions against internal records and external settlement sources; monitor pending, failed, rejected, duplicated, unmatched, or delayed transactions and follow through to resolution.
- Reconciliation Break Investigation – Investigates discrepancies across bank statements, wallet balances, transaction trackers, settlement reports, system records, and operational data; identify root causes and escalate material or aged exceptions.
- Treasury & Operational Reporting – Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports relevant to Treasury operations, including cash and liquidity positions, bank and wallet balances, transaction volumes, settlement status, outstanding items, reconciliation breaks, exceptions, and operational trends.
- Cash Position & Funding Reports – Support preparation of cash position, liquidity, funding requirement, expected inflow/outflow, and balance utilization reports to assist Treasury in daily funding and settlement decisions.
- Transaction & Exception Reports – Maintain reports on failed, pending, reversed, rejected, duplicated, or manually processed transactions, including ageing and resolution status, to support operational follow-up and management oversight.
- Operational Performance Reporting – Support reporting on Treasury operational metrics such as transaction volumes, settlement turnaround time, SLA performance, reconciliation ageing, error rates, exception frequency, and unresolved items.
- Treasury Controls & Documentation – Review transaction records and supporting documents for completeness, maintain reconciliation and exception logs, and support compliance with Maker-Checker controls, approval matrices, segregation of duties, and internal procedures.
- Operational Risk & Trend Analysis – Identify recurring reconciliation breaks, settlement delays, process weaknesses, unusual balance movements, or transaction patterns and provide analysis to support corrective actions and process improvements.
- Process Improvement & Automation – Identify opportunities to automate reconciliation, operational reporting, transaction matching, data extraction, exception monitoring, and control checks; participate in system enhancements, UAT, and workflow improvements.
- Cross-functional Coordination – Work closely with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Development/Technology teams to resolve reconciliation and reporting issues, improve data accuracy, and strengthen end-to-end visibility of fund flows.
What We're Looking For:
- Mandarin proficiency, spoken and written, is preferred for stakeholder communication.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Finance Operations, Reconciliation, Payments, Banking, Fintech, or Digital Asset operations.
- Prior experience in a fintech, payments, crypto, digital asset, remittance, banking, or other transaction-intensive financial services environment is preferred.
- Hands-on experience reconciling multiple bank accounts, payment platforms, wallets, exchanges, custodians, or other financial accounts.
- Good understanding of payment flows, settlement processes, cash management, transaction lifecycle, and reconciliation principles.
- Exposure to both fiat and digital asset transactions is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to investigate discrepancies, trace transactions, and identify the root cause of reconciliation breaks.
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and control-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working with large transaction datasets and multiple sources of financial information.
- Good working knowledge of Excel; Exposure to SQL, Python, APIs, BI tools, automation platforms, or AI tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams.
- Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred for stakeholder communication
- The role is based fully onsite, requiring your presence in the office.
