We are looking for an experienced Transaction Monitoring professional to join our Compliance team, where you will play a key role in detecting, investigating, and mitigating financial crime risks across both fiat and digital asset transactions. You will conduct in-depth investigations, identify suspicious activities, and ensure our AML/CFT framework remains aligned with regulatory requirements while helping to safeguard the integrity of our platform.
What You Will Do:
- Analyse and conduct in-depth investigations of flagged alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system arising from FIAT and crypto (on-chain and off-chain) deposits and withdrawals to mitigate risk exposure.
- Ensure all monitoring and reporting activities are conducted in line with MAS/BNM/SC AML/CFT Guidelines, and/or any other equivalent laws and guidelines.
- Preparing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) for submission to the MLRO for filing with the relevant authorities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assess patterns and trends in transaction activity to identify emerging risks and recommend appropriate mitigating controls.
- Assisting in ad-hoc Transaction Monitoring projects and tasks.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Law, Accounting & Finance, Economics or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the Financial Institutions and/or Fintech/Payments Industry.
- Knowledge in BNM/SC AML/CFT Guidelines and any other equivalent laws and guidelines. Good to have understanding of Payment Service Act (PSA) and any applicable regulations in Singapore affecting the payment, fintech, and Digital Asset industry.
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills and can collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High ethical and integrity standards, self-driven, fast learning and independence are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual - Mandarin and English preferred).
- The role is based fully onsite, requiring your presence in the office.
